The Shelby Daytona Coupe is one of the most celebrated American race cars ever built. Created to challenge Ferrari on Europe's fastest circuits, it became a symbol of innovation, determination, and one of the greatest victories in motorsports history.

Created by acclaimed automotive artist Danny Day, this limited edition giclée on canvas captures the legendary Shelby Daytona Coupe in its iconic Guardsman Blue with white racing stripes. Each canvas is individually hand signed by Carroll Shelby and Dan Gurney, and individually signed and numbered by Danny Day, creating an extraordinary collectible that celebrates three legends of American racing.

Designed by Peter Brock under the direction of Carroll Shelby, the Daytona Coupe's revolutionary aerodynamic body transformed the already formidable Cobra into a world-class endurance racer. Its greatest achievement came in 1965 when Shelby American captured the FIA World Manufacturers Championship for GT Cars, defeating Ferrari and becoming the first American manufacturer ever to win an international GT world championship.

Only six original Shelby Daytona Coupes were ever built, making the car one of the rarest and most valuable competition automobiles in existence. Dan Gurney was one of the Daytona Coupe's most successful drivers, helping cement its place in racing history through victories on the world's greatest circuits.

Whether displayed in a home, office, garage, showroom, or private collection, this exceptional canvas celebrates one of the most important American racing cars ever created.

About the Shelby Daytona Coupe

Introduced in 1964, the Shelby Daytona Coupe was engineered specifically to defeat Ferrari in international GT competition. Its sleek fastback body, designed by Peter Brock, dramatically improved high speed stability and top speed over the open Cobra roadsters, allowing Shelby American to compete successfully on Europe's longest circuits.

The Daytona Coupe achieved worldwide fame by helping secure the 1965 FIA World Manufacturers Championship for GT Cars, one of the greatest accomplishments in American motorsports history. Today, with only six originals produced, it remains among the rarest and most desirable collector cars in the world.
